When you join the Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club, you are in investing in so much more than just a health club membership. You’re joining a welcoming, social community of like-minded, wellbeing-focused people in the local area, with a shared interest in sports and fitness.
We are one of the leading fitness clubs in Chichester with padel courts, tennis courts, racketball, squash and family gym, complete with a sauna and steam room.
Our focus is on supporting and developing sport and fitness in a friendly, welcoming environment. As a club, we have coached and supported some internationally renowned sporting greats and believe that you are never too young or too old to start playing sport. Whether it’s beginners coaching, or fitness training for long-term health and fitness, we welcome people of all ages with a varied and full calendar of activities to suit varied interests and abilities.
Fun for All the Family
For younger children, our summer camps, junior tennis and coaching sessions offer a great foundation to develop skills in racquet sports from a young age, as well as selected studio classes such as Didi Dance, junior yoga and more. We also offer free tennis in a designated of the club for children in the local community from 3-5pm every Friday. You don’t need to book or to be a member, just turn up and play!
We offer discounted memberships for students and young persons with affordable off-peak monthly deals to enable access to our facilities from a young age, including junior yoga and other classes available in our fitness studio as part of our monthly membership benefits. We also host a number of squash, padel, tennis and racket ball tournaments for juniors and adults so there’s always lots going on.
As well as off peak and full adult memberships, we also offer corporate memberships tailored to give you access to facilities at the times you need them.
Our established membership community is the backbone of our club. Many of our board members have been members for years and are both loyal and passionate about the continued success of our club. Something that was recently proven in our latest club expansion and development which was fully funded by our members via debentures and upfront membership commitments to remove the need for third party financing. We listen to our members and provide a facility that we believe is not just a fitness venue, but a lifeline to many of our members as a second home, a social hub and a lifestyle choice to build friendships, as well as fitness.
If racquet sports aren’t your thing, as well as our well-equipped gym, our fitness studio offers a varied selection of classes including Tai Chi, Yoga, Circuits, Ballet, Tango and core strength classes.
Testimonials
What our players and parents think of our tennis coaching.
“I’ve been a member of the club since about 2001, I played my first squash game there. It’s a very social place and even if you don’t have anyone to play squash, racket ball or tennis with, there are internal leagues you can join and sometimes drop-in sessions. Overall, a very friendly place and great bar and restaurant area.”
Mark
“I’ve been a member for a year now and it is exceptional. The staff are friendly, the cafe is lovely and there is always a free tennis court or squash court not in use.”
Stephen
“Super club, great for young families starting out in tennis, and fitness!”
