How to Get Started

All Personal Training sessions are 60 minutes and are easily bookable by contacting one of our Personal Trainers below.

Personal Training FAQs

Definitely not! All of our Personal Trainers are highly qualified and specialise in designing training programmes for individuals. They’ll work with you to understand your specific goals and challenges, whether that’s running 1 mile or a marathon.

This will depend on many things including your budget, availability and what you want to achieve. If you’re new to Personal Training we’d recommend at least once or twice a week to get started, but the choice is up to you.

Each session is 60 minutes long, but the length of each session can be adjusted to your needs.

The cost is £45 per session with one of our experienced Personal Trainers. You can also purchase a package of 10 sessions for £400.

For new Personal Training clients, we offer a special Intro Pack of 3 sessions for £120 (maximum one per client). Terms and conditions apply; this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

We also offer group sessions, which can be arranged by contacting our Personal Trainers.

Gym Manager

A certified fitness coach and personal trainer. Transitioning from six years of teaching secondary-level mathematics, he pursued his passion for fitness. Josh brings a unique blend of experience, having competed in CrossFit for over four years. His background includes high-level competition in badminton and basketball, enriching his understanding of diverse training methodologies.

Josh is dedicated to translating his multifaceted athletic background into personalised fitness coaching, guiding you towards your goals with a dynamic and knowledgeable approach. Benefit from his expertise as he combines teaching experience with a profound commitment to your fitness journey.

Hannah Ives

Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor

With over three years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for sport, Hannah brings a dedicated and supportive approach to Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club. Currently studying for an MSci in Sports Therapy, she combines academic knowledge with practical expertise, shaped through more than a decade of competitive football and hands-on work with clients of all abilities.

Hannah specialises in rehabilitation, beginner-friendly training, and functional fitness, with a strong focus on helping individuals move better, build confidence, and achieve sustainable results. Her approach is grounded in personalised, evidence-based programming tailored to each client’s goals, abilities, and lifestyle.

Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor

With over a decade of experience in strength and conditioning, Peter bring a wealth of expertise to Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club. Holding an MSc in Strength & Conditioning from Cardiff Metropolitan University and multiple professional accreditations, he has had the privilege of working with athletes across all levels at V90 CrossFit, Itchen Academy Basketball, Hampshire Cricket, and Cardiff Met S&C Team.

Peter’s approach is rooted in enhancing performance, preventing injury, and tailoring programs to all ages and abilities. Passionate about empowering individuals to enjoy a fulfilling fitness journey and reach their potential.
