A Club Shaped by Community and Place
Chichester is a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage, from its historic architecture to its vibrant arts scene, but it also has a long and proud sporting tradition. Much of this activity is centred around Oaklands Park, a large expanse of parkland to the north-west of the city that was acquired in 1939 for the benefit of the local community. Over time, the park became home to a number of sporting and cultural organisations, and it is here, on land that was once little more than pasture and a pond, that Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club would eventually take root.
